IDENTITY AND AWARENESS:
The Power of your Mind | How to harness your mental strength and use it to perform.

 
My experience has showed me that the mind can be trained.
 
We tend to put more attention to train the physical aspects, like our body executing a certain technique. However, the body is being run by a mental-emotional “software” in the background. Everything we do is being determined by the way we think and feel.
 
The mind has two aspects, one is physical or material and the other is immaterial.
 
The Physical Material parts is the NS composed by
Central Nervous System
  • Brain
    1. Neocortex, rational or thinking brain
    2. Limbic brain, emotional or feeling brain
    3. Reptilian brain, instinctual brain, survival
  • Spinal cord,
    1. Peripheral Nervous System,
    2. Autonomic Nervous System
 
The Immaterial part meaning our awareness and everything that it produces.
 
This is a very complex system and I am just showing a simplified idea to make  the point that all thoughts, emotions, feelings have a physical foundation.
 
Our thoughts influence the way we feel, feelings influence the way we act, the way we act influences the results we get and the results produce new thoughts. It is a cycle of influence.
 
My experience has showed me that we can influence the way we feel changing our thought focus but we can also change our thought focus and emotions by change the way we move. We can start at any end of this chain to change the experience we are producing.
 
Movement, feelings and emotions produce “chemicals/hormones” that are real and they influence how you think, feel and act. It’s all interconnected.
 
SYSTEM | Training means developing practices to create new habits through repetition:
You can integrate three components to create a ritual:
Thought Focus , intention
Language, internal and external dialogue
Bodily ritual, the way you use your body
 
Start with incremental steps, from less to more until your……
 
Ritual and  state of being becomes second nature so it becomes unconsciously available under stress.
